As the title suggests, this is a 'Drive from wheelchair' vehicle. It has a fully automatic gearbox, and is a 1.4 Petrol, and is fully ULEZ compliant. The vehicle itself is absolutely stunning, it has had one owner from new, has full volkswagen service history, and has only covered 12000 miles from new, and really don't think you would find a better example. This is direct from motability, so always serviced and looked after by main dealers. The timing belt and water pump was also replaced at 10'000 miles. It can be solely operated by a single user from start to finish. There are 2 options to use this WAV.The first is that, the wheelchair user comes into the vehicle with the wheelchair and right into the front of the vehicle to where the drivers seat would be. The wheelchair then fits where the drivers seat would have been, so that they can drive the vehicle solely themselves. There is a full Q-straint docking station fitted, you will need the correct bracket for your scooter for this. The second option, is the standard wheelchair vehicle operation where the wheelchair user sits in the rear and clipped in there wheelchair with the securing straps, and there is a seatbelt for them to be secured safely. This means the drivers seat is retained and is a standard WAV. You basically hold the 2 button remote which opens the bootlid fully,and then the ramp comes down. This then enables the user to drive there wheelchair into the vehicle and drive into where the drivers seat would be located. You press the other button on the remote which then stows the ramp and shuts the bootlid shut. There is a seat fitted on the drivers side, so can be used as a totally normal vehicle depending on your needs (see photo) this can be completely removed obviously so a wheelchair can be used as the seat instead. It also has an electronic handbrake, which again is operated by a single button on the dash (ON/OFF) The gearbox is operated by a simple push button control panel. So if you want to go into reverse, you press the 'R' button. (See photos) As with all of our vehicles, It has been into the workshop and had a full service and 82 point RAC Approved inspection by our own in-house qualified technicians.
