The car will move under its own steam but only at relatively low speeds, and I can offer no guarantee that it will continue to run although I have bought it home under its own power. I would strongly suggest collection only on a trailer etc unless you happen to live very locally. Whilst taking the photographs for the ad I also noticed that the passenger side fog light bulb has gone out. From my understanding the local garage diagnosed the engine management light as a blocked DPF. Once this had a specialist cleaning they said it could be DPF, EGR fault or faults and/or DPF pressure sensor issue. Their verbal estimated costs for repair were anything from a few hundred pounds to fifteen hundred depending on what the final diagnosis was following the filter cleaning. Going to work requires motorway driving for me so the high mileage and uncertain costs of repair made me decide I needed a new car. Good points are : 2 new tyres on the front with less than 100 miles on them. Bodywork is generally good to v good.Just some small dinks and marks as per photos. Everything else seems to work ok, as you can see from the photo's, although I must emphasize this is sold "as is, for spares or repair". I'm not a mechanic so can offer no further technical advice.
