Description

Due to the arrival of our new car this Alfa Lusso is now surplus to requirements and ready for a new owner. I acquired the vehicle a few months ago from a friend and have used it as an interim daily and have covered around 1000 trouble free miles in the past month. It starts, drives and performs as I would expect it to albeit there are a few issues that will need to be tackled by a prospective new owner. Things I have attended to in my ownership are the re-gassing of the air conditioning, oil and filter change and 2 new rear tyres. The following are items that still need attending to should you wish to do so but they certainly aren't items that preclude you from driving the car. There are various chips, small dents and paint touch ins on the paintwork with the most obvious being a dent on the drivers wing which I have shown in the photos. On a previous service it was noted that the heated seats weren't functioning but it's not something I've looked in to as I would never use them anyway. The bonnet release catch in the cabin is broken and needs replacing although it can still be opened and the 2nd key doesn't work on the remote but might just need a new battery and the parking sensors will need looking at as they don't bleep as they should. Now that the negatives have been covered there are plenty of positives including a pretty comprehensive service history over the years with lots of bills including the replacement of both the cambelt and water pump at 52,626 miles in 2021 and a new turbocharger in the same year. The car comes with power folding mirrors, electric seats and a great Bose sound system. When the car was on a ramp during its service I inspected the underside and can report that it was in good shape with nothing nasty or untoward to report. The previous owner had the following works done at the same time as the cambelt replacement which included the cleaning of the inlet manifold with swirl flap delete, EGR delete plate , DPF delete pipe and a re-map. This car certainly won't win any 'Best in Show' awards but would make a great daily 'Hack' with room for improvement should the new owner wish to bring it back to its former glory. Please bear in mind though that the car is 16 years old. I have tried to be as honest as possible with my description and welcome serious enquiries. I have priced the car accordingly and won't be entertaining lowball offers. Next MOT due 21/02/2025, Silver, 2 owners, £2,950
