I bought this as a project car to have some fun with. Unfortunately after driving this for 9 months, my knees gave me a lot of pain. I'm 6ft 5in and although I easily fit in the car, the angle of my legs put my knees at a slight strain and I was struggling to walk without pain. So it is with great reluctance that I am passing this on. The previous owner had decided to spend some money with this car and made quite a few changes.Firstly, the engine is from a Cooper S John Cooper Works (Donor car had done 60,000 miles). This means that it has a lower compression and a bigger turbo.Also, the following items were added: Sports Cat downpipe with exhaust wrap. (A decat pipe is also included), Larger intercooler, Cat back stainless steel exhaust, JCW 17" Alloys, fully refurbed with no kerb scuffs, JCW calipers/brakes front and rear with drilled and grooved discs up front, JCW front strut brace, JCW front bumper, JCW multifunction steering wheel, JCW carbon fiber gear stick, Black xenon headlights, Black headlining. The car is currently running on a standard Cooper S ECU, but with the larger turbo, intercooler, sports cat and exhaust, it's definitely making more bhp. With the decat pipe fitted, the engine just keeps pulling until you run out of revs!!The potential of this car is fantastic and has a good base to take the power much further with a remap.Perhaps towards the 300bhp mark. I also have the JCW ecu from the donor car, the JCW map sensor and JCW tmap sensor along with a spare rocker cover with new PCV, miscellaneous pipework and the optional roof rails (the roof will need drilling to fit these). The other features of the car include: Full leather black heated seats, Mini Navigation System (has 2019 disc), includes Bluetooth connectivity and the Mini version of the BMW iDrive, Cruise control, Panoramic Sunroof, Parking sensors. The front Mini badge is missing in the photos, this has been replaced with a new genuine badge. The car also has air conditioning, although it does need regassing and Auto Stop/Start. This is currently not working as the gearbox zero position sensor needs recalibrating on a diagnostic machine. It has had two new front tyres fitted (covered less than 1,000 miles), the oil filter assembly and oil cooler gaskets have been changed and a new thermostat has been fitted, oil and antifreeze have been changed too.It has a MOT (expires 3/6/25).
