SLK55 R172 5.5l V8 Normally aspirated, probably not see cars like this made ever again, hell of an engine in a lovely, agile, 2 seater, great for roof down Summer cruising, with an amazing V8 sound track. I've done 12,000 miles in the last three years, and always had full fluid services each year; including gearbox oil and filter last service (October). Since then the car has been on trickle/conditioner charge and covered over in the back of our heated factory, snug as a bug. as it is every year during the wet and cold months, my summer toy car only. These are very cheap to insure and tax in comfort mode the engine automatically shuts down 4 cylinders when not needed. I am 50+ and can insure and tax for around 500 quid all in. The airscarf heater is really nice when the weather turns a bit cooler, allows you to keep the roof down for more of the year. Overall a very comfortable, responsive and sure footed car.
