Selling my much loved TT 225 in Crystal Blue Metallic, owned for over 6yrs. No expense spared in maintaining it, full service history with receipts. Selling due to getting a new car, finally time for a change. *** Good points: Quattro 4wd fully working and so much fun to drive, brand new clutch, 4 recent tyres, ice cold air con, front end respray due to 23yrs of stone chips (bonnet, bumper and wings), dashpod screen professionally repaired (no pixelation which is very common), OEM cruise control retrofitted by Awesome GTI, solid engine and gearbox, no knocks or bangs, no advisories - MOT to April 2025, aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth (put in by a previous owner) sounds amazing with the Bose speakers, heated leather seats are divine in cooler months and so quick to heat up, bodywork in excellent condition for age, starts first time every time. Spare tyre present and barely used, parcel shelf present (commonly missing), cup holders (custom 3D printed, they fit well and look good). *** Bad points: only came with 1 key when I got it, had another key cut but not chipped, so it doesn't start the car. Audi/Timpsons will do it for a fee. Cam belt done July 2020, so with a 5yr interval it'll be due next year. Driver's door sometimes doesn't detect when opened - I replaced the micro switch but haven't had chance to look into it further. *** It's been my all-time favourite car so I've looked after it well. I've never had breakdown cover and never had a problem, never been towed. I've done 34K miles in it, just 2K miles in the last year. I get up to 41MPG on a full tank with longer trips - done over 500 miles on a tank sometimes, so I know the engine is running really well. Really sad to see it go, but it's time to pass the baton on and let someone else enjoy this iconic modern classic.
