Honda Civic Type R EP3 2004. Really good condition inside and out. Has been garaged for last couple of years or so but these need to be driven so it's time to move it on. Started most days to move out of a unit and back in. Engine is as strong as it should be. No mods or shiny trinkets - an honest lump with no oil leaks. No lights on dashboard. Timing chain done at 118k miles. Clutch done at 124k miles. Standard exhaust - quiet when driven steady and makes the right noise when you get the revs high. VTEC comes in perfectly. Serviced 40 miles ago (last year!) and MOT carried out February 21st 2024. MOT passed after small weld done to inner sill. I've pulled the rear speakers and cleaned the bit of surface rust before it started to get hold properly. Fully undersealed in 2020 by reputable local garage. Refurbished steering wheel from Royal Steering Wheels in Aylesbury. New Mugen gear knob as original one had worn the pattern away. All catches work as expected. Boot catch likes to rust the pin and stick on these - disassembled and refurbished previously. Parcel shelf hasn't been cut into! All electrics fully working except the following: - Air conditioning - never got round to having this looked at so I can't say why it doesn't work unfortunately. - Fuel gauge always reads half full. Needle moves on startup/stop so could be sender needs looking at. I've managed by refilling after so many miles and never had a problem so it didn't bother me enough to fix. Low fuel level warning light still comes on though if it gets too empty. Heated/electrically adjustable mirrors. Tyres all have plenty of tread. Space saver spare in boot. Wheels could do with a refurb for kerbing. Seats are in good condition for the most part. Driver side bolster has wear from entry/exit (shown in pictures). Since having the car I've had a cover on this seat so it hasn't got any worse at least. Fully wrapped in KPMF matte metallic iced red (body)/morpheus black (roof). Original colour is Nighthawk black under this. Looks amazing in the sun. No big dents or dings anywhere. One small dent on the boot which a competent repair shop could sort quickly I think.
