I bought this car back in July 2022 as an addition to my Porsche collection. Since then due to numerous commitments I have not been able to use it as much as I want and consequently it has to go. It is garaged and has a clean MOT with no advisories from December 2023. I sent it to Sam Lander, Porsche Specialist in December 2023 for him to give it a thorough check and it returned running and driving superb. The car has a a large folder of history. Gearbox had a full strip down along with driveshafts and bearings replaced at 152070 miles. It had a professional exterior restoration done in 2004 with a full Guards Red respray. (There were photos taken of it being done, included in the history/document folder)- The original seats were re-covered in 2007 using the original specification faux leather bolsters and Porsche script cloth centres. The gear gaitor and armrest were trimmed in 2015 along with a complete replacement of the carpets throughout. All the switches and dials are present and working correctly. It has an electric and also removable sunroof, electric side mirrors, electric windows, heated rear screen, rear wiper, headlight washers and the original boot storage bag for the sunroof and the original Porsche boot toolkit. The only negative things on the car are the usual cosmetic cracks on the very top of the dash where it meets the windscreen caused by UV damage which could be re-upholstered and there is slight rust bubbles on the front wings and cills. It does not have Power Steering which I prefer personally (and part of the reason I went for this earlier car as it is a better driving experience with these trans-axle 944's.) Stainless Steel Exhaust system. All electrics and gauges are original and work perfectly, including electric windows and electric boot lid. It has an immobilizer and also a removable battery isolator key under the bonnet. This is a great opportunity to own an original 40 year old early Porsche 944 that can be driven daily and enjoyed.
