FOR SALE 2007 LY Megane R26 No-0024, only 2 previous owners, MOT Expires 5th March 2025, Current mileage is 101k miles and will slightly rise as car is still used daily (Bought with 99,150miles)Having bought this yellow peril in Aug '23, me and my lad wanted a project as it had been stood (Dry Garage) for nearly 7 years and once complete a very modest drive to Germany on the Nurburgring beginning April '24. The car is OEM plus (NOT Tuned!).Before our successful road trip the car has been in my garage since bought and had the following work Installed; New Gates timing belt, WP & tensioner, New gates serpentine belt, tensioner, New alternator, Replaced sump gasket (Common fault),New genuine Renault dampers Front & Rear (F&R),New Grams lowering springs (F&R),New genuine Renault lower control arms, New genuine droppings (All 4x fronts),New genuine track rod ends and N/S track rod, New braided Hella line replaced all brake flexi lines, New Oil pump chain & guides, Replaced fuel line section (Common fault),New OEM interior fan & resistor replaced, All new Michelin PS 5 tyres with 6mm left, on refurbished original alloy wheels, All fluids replaced twice, For more detail please have a look on Ebay. Overall body condition is relatively good for a 17 year old, the car of this age does have age related marks, especially on the front bumper I.e. stone chips, the paintwork other than fore-mentioned is very good for age, the yellow peril is stored in my dry garage throughout my ownership and I have only ever used Shell Vpower 99 octane. Negative points of the yellow peril;*Unfortunately driver's door was damaged during loading onto a friends 2post ramp before it's MOT (Further pictures can be sent) replacement door has been rectified, otherwise all original paint, other body panels have some small minor dents.*No Air Conditioning as I removed, the cost to replace what was not serviceable as almost 500, and did not see the point in that expense, Reason for purchase & sale; unfortunately the original plan was to buy an R26 that needed some work, take it to Germany, enjoy the Nurburgring, bring it back, and sell it for another project for us, given its new lease of life, someone else could enjoy this excellent car. All in all, this car drives, pulls, stops and handles very well as it should and will be very sad to see it go.
