Description

Rare Car: Manual with low mileage and in excellent condition, this 125i Sport Plus Edition is finished in Le Mans Blue with Black Dakota Leather. The car has a full service history by BMW main dealers and an independent BMW Specialist. It had the major service (including replacement of spark plugs and brake fluid) In July 2023. The next service is not needed until July 2025. Tyres are in good condition and have good tread depth all round. A full steering and suspension geometry check and was undertaken in 2022. A new MOT will be put on the car before sale. The bodywork is in excellent cosmetic condition with no dents and only a few minor stone chips/scratches. The interior and hood are also in excellent condition with little sign of wear, fully consistent with the low mileage. It has an extensive specification, which is set out in the sections below, and includes: Park Distance Control (PDC), front and rear, Rain sensor for wipers and automatic headlight activation, Cruise control. Business Multimedia package comprising the full Business Navigation and I-drive system. Enhanced Bluetooth telephone functionality and a USB audio interface (I have my music on a 256k memory stick). M Sport suspension & Aerodynamics package, M Sport multi-function leather steering wheel. It also has the essential upgrades for comfortable top-down cruising: Heated Front Seats and the Wind Deflector. It is fitted with M performance 18" Double-spoke 261 style light alloy wheels which have been recently fully refurbished and finished in Gloss Black. The already quick standard 125i performance has been enhanced with a remap based on the standard BMW 130i map. The remap, undertaken by Celtic Tuning, re-enables the Variable Valve Timing (which is disabled in software by BMW) and takes the power from the standard for the 125i of 214bhp, up to a dyno tested 278bhp. The car is very drivable with some extra power and torque available throughout the rev range, but with a significant power boost coming in at about 4700 rpm all the way to the Red-line at 7000rpm. The power leads to a significant improvement in the 0:60 times taking over one second off the published standard time of 6.8 seconds down to a measured time of 5.6/5.7 seconds. It also stops extremely well, as the brakes were also upgraded to BMW 130i specification when the Remap was done. Next MOT due 20/07/2025, Full service history, Blue, 4 owners, £8,250
