Description

Good mechanical condition. Valves lift as they should at 6200rpm and pulls all the way to 8200rpm. Interior a bit tired in my opinion. Has a few marks, scratches on the exterior. Spoiler and rear bumper would benefit from a respray. The steering wheel audio control is not working as it has an aftermarket head unit. Plays music from usb stick or mobile phone. The climate control buttons can be a bit stubborn sometimes, but every function works ok including air con. It has an aftermarket trd gear shift knob. We own the car for over 4 years. Always fixed what needed to be fixed. I had a few things done since we own the car. At 116662 miles: Crankshaft oil seal, Timing chain cover gasket, Water pump gasket, Oil sump gasket, Timing chain tensioner gasket. They are all common tsport problems. Now good for an other 10-15 years. At 117040 miles it had new front discs and pads. At 117896 miles Toyota health check and airbag recall. At 118314 miles it had the rear brake hoses done, stabiliser links, cv boot kit, brake fluid. Serviced every 6-7000 miles. I have all the bills for all the works been done. Except oils services. I do that myself. And there are a lots of paperwork from previous owners. We bought the car for my wife as a gap car. She ended up driving it for 3 years. We bought a hybrid Lexus for her last year. So the corolla is hardly been driven in the last 15 months. The car sometimes not moving for 5-6 weeks. This is no life for such a car, so I'v decided to sell it. Kind of an every day 5 door corolla look, but instead of a 90hp 1.4 it is a 1.8 litre 190hp car. Lots of people requested photos of the undercarriage of the car. Photos now been added. The corrosion is mostly surface rust. I have had it checked by a specialist. Braydon Elite. They are specialist of vehicle rust proofing. They haven't found any serious problems. It could be rust treated for a few hundred quid. I leave it for the next owner to decide. On the body the driver side bottom corner of the sill/wheel arch probably will need some attention in the near future. Non of these were ever mentioned on the mot. Last one was done recently. It has 12 months M.O.T. Next MOT due 24/06/2025, Part service history, Blue, 5+ owners, £2,250
