BMW X5 E53 Low Tax Bracket.Ive had the pleasure of owning this vehicle for nearly 2 1/2 years only selling as I just don't use it that much as I have another vehicle for work.When I brought the car I changed some things I knew were a common problem before they failed they were Drivers door handle carrier,Water pump and thermostat and coolant,all drivebelts,Ignition barrel,EGR delete kit,(No swirl flaps on this model thank god)Newer design crank breather case as old ones block,Fuel filter these were done around 5k ago.Its got nearly new tyres all round and the 4 wheel tracking was done,New rear boot struts,New rear disks and pads and complete new handbrake pad kit with springs.High power led reverse lights,led angel eye side lights,HID headlights,Pioneer Bluetooth head unit (play music and receive calls)Parrot phone kit.Front and rear diff and gearbox oil changed in November 2020.Transfer case oil changed June 2020,Aircon re gassed in June 2023.Full service history drives lovely 2 keys.There are a couple of bad point that have not really bothered me in my ownership.1 is wing mirrors move fine with the switch just have to be folded in manually.Sunroof opens and closes just won't tilt.Parking sensors can be a bit hit and miss but I find it easy to park,boot switch on door outside doesn't work,opens with key fob or boot button by gear shifter.Car has never let me down and starts every time.Brilliant in the winter months as it warms up so quick with the auxiliary heater under the bonnet.Best colour combo I think.And totally new unused spare Mitchelin tyre in boot.
