SP63 ODE. 2013 Land Rover Discovery 4 SDV6 XS. 160,000 miles, 6 months MOT (Dec 24) Corris Grey exterior / black leather interior, 7 seater, 2 keys, Updated 8 speed gearbox, Factory fitted tow bar, Pirelli Scorpion tyres all round with 4/5mm tread, Full HPI clear (vcheck report included), Logbook and service book in hand. High spec with Harmon Kardon stereo, heated leather seats, etc. Clear glass all round, Full JLR history to 120,000. Independent service at 140,000 and serviced by myself at 160,000 at purchase. Same time the air compressor was rebuilt with new seals, the fuel tank cover/bracket replaced and stereo amplifier replaced. Car drives solid, purchased it to replace a Cayenne as always liked the look of these, but I can't get on with it myself. Perfect family car, work horse, tow car. I got it back in April and have put around 2000 miles on it. The bodywork is in good condition, there are a few marks but nothing major, a couple of rust bubbles in areas, interior is pretty much spotless, and the wheels in great shape. I don't know loads about LR products but this seemed a good example when I got it that had a few issues I have easily resolved (audio, suspension, servicing, boot latch). The guy I got it from had it since late 2023 for his wife to learn to drive but found it too big so sat for a few months before selling. In terms of problems, it is 10 years old with 160k on it, there are a couple. The aforementioned rust bubbles, the underside is a little scabby and there is a very slight coolant leak that was noted on the last MOT. I have not tried to look at this any further. With the full JLR history for the first 8 years, then service scheduled followed after it seemed a safe bet, but I can't gel with it, so going back to either a Cayenne or X5. I made sure to get the later SDV6 engine with the 8-speed gearbox as it suggested online this was the better combination. Viewing welcome in DE4 area, text or message me for any more information.
