I'm looking for a loving home for my well loved Mk 5 Golf GTI. I genuinely think this will be a future classic and I'm probably going to regret selling it! The car was bought from a work friend around 8 years ago, he owned the car from new. The car has been serviced every year with the majority being at the main dealer. Since 2020 I have gone to a local specialist. I have receipts for all the work carried out since the car was new and I have also filled the service book. I got a new one from VW last year. The car has always been filled with super unleaded fuel (recommended in the owners manual) and the oil has been topped up consistently since new (also recommended in the manual). Mechanically the car is in excellent condition. I have just fitted two new rear tyres, the front tyres and the the brakes are all good. I have had the wheels powder coated and replaced the front headlights and also had the brake calipers repainted. I also have all new interior trim but I haven't got round to fitting this yet, I've just been too busy. I was going to sell this separately but I'd be open to offers from whoever buys the car. I'd really love to keep the car but I have a 17 year old learning to drive and there is no way the insurance is doable. Serious offers will be considered. Any questions please get in touch.
