I bought this car earlier this year as I found it on Autotrader with one owner and full VW service history, it was very low mileage and a great specification. I bought it to last for years as my commuter that can be driven in the city but have now been given a company car. I had the engine and gearbox serviced and two tyres fitted to the rear. I then had the front bumper painted and a full machine polish. Then got it remapped to improve fuel economy which made it much better and even gave it extra power so is now 240hp. It really is a lovely example for the age and you can see the history in the picture, there is loads of invoices too with everything done at the same VW garage as the previous owner bought it from apart from what I've had done. He was an elderly gentleman and I bought it as he sadly passed and a probate company was selling it.
