Description

Ultra Rare DB9 LM Build #058 This car has been cherished by me and previous owners. It is a very special limited edition model with low mileage and a full service history. The car has been serviced by Bamford Rose, who are the ultimate Aston Martin specialists. Everything Bamford Rose suggests as maintenance has been done to the car. I really don't want to sell it, but needs must. I will retain this number plate and put the original number plate on the car when I give it to you. The DB9 LM was a special edition to celebrate Aston Martin's first GT1 class victory in the Le Mans 24-hour endurance classic with the DBR9 in June 2007. Originally, Aston Martin was to produce 124 examples for delivery in 2008, with one vehicle for every dealer worldwide. Unfortunately for Aston Martin, the vehicle was launched during a worldwide financial crisis, and many dealers did not take up their allocated vehicle. So, it is believed only 69 were actually made. Of these 69 vehicles, only 15 were produced in right-hand drive (RHD) form. All vehicles were produced in unique Sarthe Silver Metallic, named after the region in France where the Le Mans circuit is based. This is coupled with Obsidian Black perforated leather trim with red stitching and unique Tertre Rouge (translated as 'The Red Mound,' named after the highest and most northern point of the circuit before the racers turn south down the famous Mulsanne Straight) dash facia, door cappings, and the Le Mans circuit embroidered on the centre armrest. The specification included the new and improved Touchtronic 11 transmission, sports pack, 19" alloy wheels with red brake callipers, meshes in Magnum Silver, bright front grille, clear rear light lenses, a small red enamelled badge on the boot lid, and a numbered sill plaque (ours shows 058/124). The cost of all this luxury in 2008 was an eye-watering 127,000.Our special vehicle is in absolutely amazing order throughout and comes with a very comprehensive service history, with 14 services recorded in the original service portfolio, accompanied by an original invoice for each service and other interesting paperwork. This is a must-have vehicle with absolute provenance that would grace anybody's car collection. This is one of my special cars in my collection. Next MOT due 04/08/2024, Silver, 3 owners, £39,900
