Description

Two keys. Please look at all photos and read full description before contacting me. Open to offers. Advertised elsewhere so listing may end early. Have owned this as our main family car for over 10 years and has been everything we needed in a car, sad to see it go. Good round town as it is on long journeys and fits easily into car park spaces compared with the new Alhambra and other modern SUVs. With children growing up and moving on we have downsized. The five rear seats can be repositioned or taken out altogether in various configurations, lots of flexibility. Has roof rails, towbar and electrics (spare number plate included). Has retractable and removable rear baggage cover. We are not smokers but there is a small cigarette burn in the drivers seat from before we bought it. We have looked after it and the overall condition is clean and good for its age, with the usual marks/scuffs here and there. It has MOT until 27/2/25. Current MOT has advisories some of which have been dealt with. We have been advised it will need welding underneath for the next MOT. We have had previous welding done. An oil leak has been noted as an advisory for several MOTs but this has never gotten worse. The exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases but this is not making a noise. Lots of service history. Still plenty of life in the engine which pulls well. The fan and heater work but the air con chilling no longer works as a pipe needs replacing. New starter motor fitted 5/4/24. Last service 29/4/24 at 165,500 miles including front suspension ball joint and two new tyres for MOT. Two more new tyres and new wheel bearing fitted 12/7/23 at 162,037 miles. Engine management light shows on the dashboard and has done for the last couple of years (and MOTs). The message "emissions workshop" also shows when you first turn the ignition on but then clears. These are both because the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve stopped working and the RAC blanked it off as a roadside repair. The RAC mechanic and garage that services the car advised to leave as is as this isn't a problem for the MOT or driving the car (in fact runs better), although when they MOT it they don't wait for the message to clear and initially fail it, but then pass it, as can be seen in the MOT history. To view or any questions please call weekday evenings between 6pm and 9pm. Weekends please call between 9am and 9pm. Will accept cash in full, or cash deposit and bank transfer. Next MOT due 27/02/2025, Part service history, Silver, 2 owners, £1,195
