Description

This is our well maintained A4 B7, 2 owners from new and we've had it for 12 years. Selling only as we now have a dog so a saloon doesn't suit us any longer. THE GOOD BITS: Car is in great condition for age and mileage, particularly the interior. The full leather seats show hardly any wear as you can see from the photos. The slight dents in the rear seat backs are from a child seat that was just removed, so they'll bounce out in a few days. Headlining is great. The car is a very comfortable motorway cruiser, and you can really see that most of the 260k have been easy motorway miles. Full service history and file with all our receipts included, including recent cambelt and clutch so the next owner should be set with the main engine wear items already taken care of. The car has been really reliable over the years with no serious issues and will have a fresh service and MOT for the buyer. Includes fitted sun/privacy shades to rear windows, rubber mats in front and rubber load liner in boot to protect the carpets. Towbar fitted, and never used to tow anything heavier than a small 4ft trailer. Car has never been mapped, chipped or otherwise modified. Comes with 4 Bridgestone tyres and a full size spare wheel with good tyre. Reliable 2 litre diesel engine runs smoothly, pulls well and has averaged 50mpg for us in mixed use. We've had over 700 miles from a tank on long runs. No corrosion issues anywhere, and steady mileage with regular motorway runs mean the diesel engine hasn't gummed up. We keep cars for the long term and take care of them accordingly. THE LESS GOOD BITS: There are some paint scratches and quite a few motorway stone chips, particularly on the bonnet, a couple of which have started to surface rust so will probably need spot repairs - see photos. The rubber door seal on the drivers door has worn at the bottom, see photo. The bumpers have some scuffs and dents from car park bumps, and there are a couple of small dings on the side panels from car doors being opened into them. The centre of the bonnet has developed a slightly cloudy appearance to the paint, which I've tried to capture in the photos - this may polish out. The front wheels have some kerb damage, particularly the nearside front. The towbar needs repainting. And the Audi "rings" logo has fallen off the plastic engine cover under the bonnet. Overall a really honest, solid, comfortable and reliable saloon that still holds up really well and has many years of life in it yet. Next MOT due 24/07/2024, Full service history, Black, 2 owners, £1,400
