For Sale is My Cherished 2004 R53 Cooper S in best Colour Red with White Roof .I have owned since 2019 , Bought in Tired Condition and spent 8k( lost count after that it may be a LOT more) plus to get it to this level.List mostly including .Dual Mass & Clutch replaced 2021,Had 2 Water Pumps(1 as Part of Supercharger Service done last year) and new head gasket / Top-end Rebuild also 2021 .Replaced Tailgate and had full repaint ( they Rust ! ) and bumper done at the same time , looks like new ,done in a Paint Shop not a Curb- Side job .Professional rear qtr Tint done,2Keys , PAS Pump replaced in March, Mot And Service done due again March 25. Also , Lohen Spacers all -round, replaced Crank Belt / Pulley assembly at the same time, has full set Koni Gas Adjustables fitted Oct 23 , transforms the ride and handling, as Factory set - up too stiff.Additionals include, KChrome Led Rear Lights, the originals fade and look horrible even from new , these look great and have a Retro Look. Chrome exterior pack , all excellent condition, AlloyGators fitted after Wheel Refurb last year (Done in a Booth not under a Gazeboto save money!) .Headling and rear Seat look like a 5 yr old car,drivers seat has wear but no tears etc.Magnex Exhaust , RamAir Filter and Mild Re- Map , its 21 years old and I didn't want to strain the Motor., sounds lovely.Gets a Maguire Coating every 2 Weeks , run on" Momentum" 99 since I had it.Negative points : Pictures show some peel , on Bonnet , Bit on drivers door / tailgate, I have attempted to leave as-is to keep it original , but overall it still shines bright even now., there are of course age related marks on the body , I have tried to keep it maintained and finish as per factory instead of poor cheap re-paints ,The Washer on the tailgate is working but pipe has detached , they do channel water into the tailgate and create corrosion , so I have left it as it is.The Mot shows an Oil seepage , its Never used any in the time I had it , it is HPI clear ., .The Reg Number can stay on the car if wanted,and is negotiable , I think it suits the Retro style of the car , There is a Black Raised plate in the Boot I have used at the odd show ...NOT TO BE USED ON PUBLIC ROADS though,just for display only.Interested parties contact me if reqd ,please note, bought as viewed ,I have tried to describe it fairly,but the car is 21 yrs old, it will have issues," NO KNOCKS & BANGS" I see in some ads, Yeh Right!, Next MOT due 01/03/2025, Part service history, Red, 5+ owners, £3,975
