Description

2005 model 106k miles MOT due Jan 2025 Later model Cooper which benefits from Teflon supercharger and BKL LSD gearbox. Purchased this in November 2021 standard apart from a KAVs 17% pulley, it was used as a daily for some time and in Feb 2022 (96k miles) had a major service with timing chain, replacement of perished breather hose and CCV and supercharger service. Failed last MOT for wheel bearings so both fronts were replaced. Over the last couple years it's been modified for track (which makes it pretty undriveable on the road now) which included: Silicone intake hose and K&N filter, MTC Intercooler and snoot boots, Malian (eBay) manifold and decat pipe (Sports cat included but started to blow out the packing after one day at Cadwell), Gravity Performance (eBay) resonated cat back, PowerFlex polybushed throughout (subframes and arms could do with replacement due to rust but still solid), KW Clubsports with geo done at The Motorworks in Gloucester, R53 JCW calipers and braided lines, SW Motorsport bucket seat mount, 2 sets of wheels. Rota GTR and Bola B1. Both sets 17x7.5 ET45-Bolas have staggered Direzzas and Rotas have PS5s, Fresh oil and filter change with 30ish miles done since. BAD POINTS: Exhaust started blowing towards the end of the last day at Combe (videos attached) and is generally rattly. Car is not a show car by any stretch. It's 19 years old and dinged stone chipped. Bootlid has rust in the usual spot. Small (not MOT fail) chip in the windscreen from last day at Cadwell. Recaro SPG XL NOT included, please bring your own bucket or OEM seat can go back in at your request. Airbag light on dash from removing OEM seat. Brakes are bit soft, could do with a fluid flush and setting up some cooling. Front and rear pads could do with replacing but still some life in them. Windscreen washer bottle on passenger side is leaking into the footwell. One of the PS5 tyres is plugged and will need replacing before next MOT. Overall it's an AWESOME little track car, only reason for selling is that I need to I've already got a stripped/caged Mk5 Golf. Priced fairly at 3500 considering mods and the TLC that is needed to get it ready for another trackday. Location Exeter Next MOT due 08/01/2025, Silver, 5+ owners, £3,500
