Description

For sale is my BMW M5 which I have decided to sell to fund a larger car due to another baby on the way. It has been very well looked after mechanically and aesthetically. As you can see from the pictures, the paintwork is incredible for a car of its age and is I true testament to how it has been looked after over the years. The MOT has now expired, but once a sale has been agreed and a deposit paid, I will be getting it renewed for the next owner. It is a very well specked M5 with options like Active seat bolsters, Satellite TV, front and rear heated seats, electric rear window blinds including manual side door shades, auto lights/wipers, satellite navigation, front and rear parking sensors, upgraded premium stereo, rear seat aux input, bi-xenon headlights and a heads-up display. It has been fitted with brand new ATE front discs and ATE pads all round just one hundred miles ago. While this was done, the calipers were removed for rebuilding and refurbishing, then re-fitted with Hel Performance stainless brake lines. The inner and outer tie rods were replaced fifty miles ago, along with all new camber and toe bolts on the rear to assist in the 4-wheel alignment that was conducted on a hunter alignment machine. All this has been documented along with a whole folder full of history for the car. If you know these cars, then you will know that the rod bearings are a must-do maintenance item. Unfortunately, there is no record of these being done, and if I were to keep the car, I would have them done at a reputable garage like Evolve Automotive. The cost of this job to be done to an exceedingly high standard from a reputable company is two thousand pounds. I have taken this into consideration when pricing the car. The only modifications done to the car are H&R lowering springs and wheel spacers. The reason I fitted these is because naturally, the E60 M5 sits higher at the front and lower at the rear on which I was not keen. The original springs will be included in the sale if the new owner would like to put it back to standard form. The car has an exceptionally good service history including main dealer until 56178 miles. It has been serviced as follows; 23/10/06 @ 1248 - 08/07/08 @ 13670 - 11/04/11 @ 29308 - 04/09/12 @ 38917 - 03/04/13 @ 41386 - 07/08/14 @ 48874 - 17/02/2016 @ 56178 - 14/09/17 @ 61010 - 14/08/18 @ 65922 - 08/02/19 @ 67798 - 16/09/19 @ 68223 - 02/07/20 @ 70485 - 15/02/22 @ 71230 - 30/04/23 @ 72398. I would be open to part ex with a 7 seat BMW X5 Next MOT due 04/05/2024, Black, 3 owners, £17,995
