Description
A wonderful low mileage example, cherished since new, in a striking colour scheme and with a great
history. As good as they get...
The Silver Spur was Rolls Royce's long wheelbase version of the Silver Spirit, which ran through 4
different revisions from 1980 up until 2000. This example is an early model Mark IV Silver spur with
very low mileage and in a fantastic spec and colour combination.
This specific Silver Spur was ordered from the factory with Wildberry metallic paint for the exterior
and Magnolia leather with matching Wildberry piping and walnut burr veneer adoring the usual
places. The subtle impact of the matching piping, carpet and highlights to the exterior colour really
make this interior just that bit more special.
With only 3 previous keepers and 56,200 miles on the clock, this is a very well looked after example.
The previous two owners had connections in the Rolls Royce and Bentley world being part of the
RREC. Both have extensive collections of this marque and have been very particular in maintaining
this Silver Spur using only the best marque specialists.
Powered by the 6.75 litre Rolls Royce L410 V8 and turbocharged by the newly introduced low boost
Garret turbo, the Silver Spur was never about out and out performance but with around 300hp on
tap it is certainly no slouch. Refinement and smoothness was the order of the day here however,
meaning the low boost turbo comes in at a much more civilised rev range.
