For those with a certain apprehension about electric vehicles, let us put your mind at rest given this is our 2nd Zoe purchase: (i) this Zoe has a comfortable range of roughly 250 miles on one charge which is amble for the school or shopping run, and in the cases where you need to go further, we have taken this car to Eastbourne (for the Tennis) and back (from NW London) as well as Stansted Airport and back (from NW London); (ii) the rapid charge is so fast that a full charge takes roughly one hour which in itself is trivial if one is shopping at the same time; (iii) post COVID, do you recall the long queues outside of petrol stations? Well with an EV, you would be immune to such events; (iv) plus the ability to charge your EV at home with an overnight British Gas tariff at c.10p/KWh would mean that your EV would be cheaper to run than a conventional petrol car; and (v) do your bit to help transition our country to be Net Zero by 2050 by running an EV which incentivises/ enables the the generation and distribution of green and abundant electricity generation!
