This car has been my family vehicle so I have made sure that it is reliable. I have had swirl flaps removed from the intake manifold (known issue causing catastrophic engine failure), egr cooler and egr valve removed and blanked for engine longevity, timing chain and tensioners replaced as this is a known issue with the N47 engine and brand new tyres on every corner around 6 months ago.
