Description

A limited edition 320si sedan, a street version of the car Andy Priaulx drove to victory in the 2005 World Touring Car Championship. The car is built in compliance with FIA homologation regulations with a limited run of 2,600 cars made and only 500 released in the UK. Only 120 are still left on the road today. Featuring a special version of the 2 litre, 4 cylinder engine, with higher compression, a custom head with larger valves, and a large bore/short stroke engine block with aluminium alloy cylinder liners replacing the stock cast iron units. The carbon fibre rocker cover is also a unique and eye catching addition. Red lining at 7,300 rpm and putting out 173hp, the 320si combines high levels of performance with WTC looks. Including front and rear aerodynamic body styling, sports seats, sports suspension and aluminium interior trim as well as unique lightweight M Sport touring car style alloy wheels. This specific car has been mechanically very well looked after in the near 4 years I've had it with regular oil changes and recently changed rear shock absorbers. Engine is in very good nick and all paperwork is included. Overall, a really regretful sale as I've had a load of fun with this car and would love to hang onto it. The only reason I'm having to sell it is because of moving back to London, getting to use it less and having to spend my money on boring things like rent and food which is a shame. Would love to have taken it the Nurburgring at some point but I'll have to buy it back off you once I've won the lottery for that I suppose. Unfortunately only came with one key, a couple of small marks detailed in the pictures and a new actuator is needed on the front passenger door (has to be unlocked from the inside at the moment but door works fine). Just a small job that I haven't got round to doing yet. Would love to hand the key over to someone who will drive it with pride for its pedigree and history as well as taking care of it long enough to make the sort of money I'd like to be making on it once it becomes even rarer through people treating the remaining ones poorly. But realistically if you give me the right amount of money you can drive it straight into the sea if you want. Starts and runs brilliantly and sounds great too, a comfortable under the radar race car that you can take your family out in but also impress the car nerds with. Number plates will be changed back to the original GP06 PYD before sale. Next MOT due 12/02/2025, Blue, 5+ owners, £4,999
