Description

My very well cared for low mileage (61,691 miles) Porsche Boxster 987 2.7L 245bhp Convertible Manual in Metallic Atlas Grey with a Stone Grey leather interior with a black hood. The car was highly specified from the factory and hasn't been molested with 'upgrades' since. Full list shown in the photos but highlights include Limited Slip Diff. Porsche Stability Management. Litronic Xenon Headlights with washers. Rear parking sensors. Onboard computer with dash display. Heated Aspherical Mirrors. Electrically adjustable heated (see below) memory seats (3 drivers) with lumbar control. CDR24 head-unit and 6 CD disc changer (see below). ASK amplified upgraded sound system (still retains useful storage between seats and wind deflector unlike Bose). Alarm siren and tilt sensor. Tinted windscreen (screen replaced June 2023). Air conditioning (condenser replaced 2021). Integrated Homelink system to open electric gates and garage doors. Porsche sports exhaust. Cheaper tax and insurance than newer or bigger engine cars. MOT until 29/5/2025. Last oil change 12/4/2024. Under car sealant in 2015 and 2018. Excellent service history just not exactly to the book. Any Boxster of this era you are looking at should have had a whole new set of cooling pipes, checks on the rads (engine and air con) for stone holes/cracks, a new water pump and auxiliary belt by now, this car has and it's a 1000 pounds job. No oil weeping and been advised that it's the larger engine cars that can have IMS bearing issues due to higher heat and stress. Comes with 2 Keys and blank (blade) and fitted dust cover. Heated seats need a code reset at a dealer or specialist such as Crawfords, Saltash. I've only not done it as it's a full day out for me due to where I am and I only use the car in the summer. Radio/cd head-unit screen intermittently goes off but all continues working. 'Dry' connection suspected as common and Revive repairers can fix this for a few hundred pounds but not needed unless it bothers you or you intend to put in a new modern system. Been used as a 4th car only for high days and holidays. Always garaged by me and the previous owner who also had good daily cars. In lovely condition and only 3,250 miles a year since new it would seem like every owner has cherished her! Great car, only selling as I've got two children now and two into one spare seat won't go! Next MOT due 29/05/2025, Part service history, Grey, 5+ owners, £9,500
