Classic Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera Cabriolet in gleaming Guards Red. Main dealer/specialist/other service stamps up to 100k miles pre my ownership, AutoUmbau Porsche Specialist major service, inc valve adjustments at 109k, minor services (oil, filters, brake fluid, etc.) at 104, 107, 111 and 114k. Always garaged and largely dry miles in my 13yrs and 10k miles of ownership. The 915 Gearbox was rebuild by Porsche racing specialists BS Motorsport @ 109k. Engine thorough check-over, new clutch, drive shaft, starter motor, tinware, oil feed pipes, sound matting, sundry components by AutoUmbau at 109k. Cylinder leak down test (very good) by Autowerke Norwich specialist. Near side kidney bowl replaced and the off side kidney area investigated, declared solid, cleaned and re-protected. refurbished fuel tank. Excellent mechanically, "bullet proof" 930 engine, strong oil pressure, the engine bay and underside are clean, leak free, dry and tidy. Bodywork is good (very minor rust to the ns headlight, small bubble on the os wing), the hood is fair, two small stitch repairs, rear screen is clear and scratch free. The Fuch alloys are in excellent condition, the interior is in good condition, seats are unmarked, clean, super supportive and comfortable, correct original steering wheel, original carpets, the door cards and pull handles are all good. Gauges are all good as are the electric mirrors and windows. Tidy under bonnet, good original carpets, refurb'd tank, replaced battery. The driving experience is pure classic Porsche - full on, fast, exhilarating and totally engaging, the superb air cooled flat six engine and exhaust note really add to the grin factor! Low Classic Car insurance, low tax (zero after 40yrs?), low maintenance, nil depreciation - a great way to experience thoroughly enjoyable, highly reliable and much admired classic car ownership and make the most of Summer!
