He took the car to the south of France where it spent the majority of its 35 years of his ownership. It was brought back to the UK in 2017 and in May 2018 had a Kilometre reading of only 23,240. The car was originally Black and White, it's new owner completely stripped and repainted in a light green but keeping the original white bars. The interior was re trimmed also in White with Black pipping. Original wheels were replaced with new 13" Mini Lite Alloys and fitted with new tyres.
