It is with sadness that we are selling our very well loved 2CV but we need the garage space. The phrase "maintained regardless of cost" is overly used but valid in this case. Recent work includes over a thousand pounds of chassis welding, new king pins, new rear wheel fairings etc. etc. New parts include new roof, various engine parts etc. We have a folder of most of the work on car over the years which can be shared prior to purchase. The car has been garaged and used for summer weekends for past 9 years and I believe garaged for most of its life. We know 4 or 5 total owners including ourselves. General condition is good/very good, bodywork will need attention but whose doesn' t when you get to this age. Starts and runs very well and is a pleasure to drive. We only use it for pottering locally. I'm told by experts that this particular vehicle is worthy or a full restoration to show standard if that is what you are looking for, not for me but fits some people's needs.
