Beautiful, immaculate, unmolested low mileage, low ownership Fiat Barchetta with superb provenance. This is a very early genuine British registered from new car. It has been lovingly cared for and always garaged, has never been welded and still has the original paintwork retaining a deep and lustrous shine. Coach built by Maggiora and looking much as it did the day it left the factory. The first owner was the managing director of a famous hi fi company who transferred the car into his own name before I bought it from him. He first saw a Barchetta at the 1995 NEC Motor Show and ordered it there and then. I still have the letter from Fiat that they wrote to him thanking him for his interest at the show, along with a wealth of documentation, history and receipts, including the original brochures including the optional extras brochure from where he chose the Comfort Pack. (Central locking, electric arial, electric door mirrors, front fog lights, leather interior, leather steering wheel, leather gear knob and passenger air bag) . He also had a genuine Fiat exhaust trim fitted. Everything listed is still in perfect condition and excellent working order. When I bought the car I had all new tyres fitted (Pirelli, naturally), a new Mohair hood (I did not like the black plastic one), full service including timing belt, water pump etc (the variator had already been replaced) plus I had a Pioneer hands free stereo professionally fitted along with an upmarket BLAM speaker system which looks original and sounds fantastic . I still have the original head unit to go with the car. On the road this car drives extremely well, everything feels nice and tight and the rasp from the lively motor puts a big smile on your face. This has to be one of the very best Barchettas around, economical to own and a car to truly cherish, garage and enjoy on sunny days.
