This has been an amazingly reliable & good car for my father & then myself. Has driven perfectly & no issues. It was MOT'd in May.The reason for the low price is because it is a non-starter and an ideal project for someone who has the ability, passion & know-how to work on her. I made the stupid & costly mistake of allowing the coolant to run low & she seized up after I'd stopped & she'd overheated. The next morning she didn't start. Our family mechanic (we've used him & his garage forever) has said it is a project for someone to take on who knows about VW's & has the time / ability to work on the engine and I should take a quick sale at 1795k to just get myself another run around. I don't have the time or ability to fix her - but someone will. Please no time wasters - the price is 1995 (Auto-Trader suggested price of this as working car is 4,100 - so the car offered as a project is less than half price with cost of reworking or replacing the engine factored in), collectable from the forecourt of my family garage.
