Reluctantly selling my MK6 Golf GTI as I'm looking for a camper. It's an awesome original car purchased from a friend who bought it new so only 2 owners. Stock condition and used as a family car both times so had a very easy life for a GTI! This was a showroom car at Volkswagen Sheffield so had all the best spec options at the time. 2009 model and just about to turn 135k mileage. Very good original condition inside and out with no modifications, repairs, dents etc. New Sony head unit with Sat Nav, phone, wireless apple car play etc. Just had the timing chain replaced a few months ago at a cost of just under 2k. The only minor issue is on starting at idle the revs are slightly up and down for about 30 seconds then returns to normal. Apparently this is often the butterfly air inlet flap just needs cleaning as gets sticky. Does not affect normal running and would get this done if keeping the car. Always looked after and well maintained with pretty much full VW service history. If you are looking for a completely stock GTI you would do well to find a better one.
