Description
Kept in garage; MOT and Tax free; car was assembled in Blackheath, Capetown, South Africa; my father purchased the car for my mother when it was 6 months old, who then passed it onto my wife who is the current owner; we brought Little Annie with us when we left South Africa to immigrate to the UK; body and engine fully restored in 2000; Engine was re-bored to 1275cc and has been dynamically balanced; there is a fast road cam fitted along with an RC40 exhaust system; Little Annie is a very attractive head turner - makes people smile when they see her; unfortunately the rust has appeared in a few places on the body and chassis; have a second set of keys, original logbook, tools and matts in the boot and a well-used Haynes car manual and much paperwork; have a gear stick lock installed for security; have various tooling to work on the car, a spare set of 4 white powder coated rims, original steering wheel and a leather one, plus a wooden steering wheel currently fitted, twin HS2 Carburettors, HS4 carburettor , 2 spare radiators- There are 4 MiniLite rims fitted currently; Little Annie was originally yellow, however when the restoration was done the body was resprayed green with a white top( Volkswagen Cosmic Green , Volkswagen Casablanca white)- The original vinyl seat and door cards covers had split and were replaced with cloth, the exact stitching pattern was maintained. We hate to part with Little Annie who after the restoration won a number of prizes and we are very proud of her, but now we don't have the time to enjoy her as we did, and would like her to go to someone who will enjoy driving her and give her a good home.
