Description

I'm selling my 944 after 8 years of owning it. I've invested quite a lot into it over the years and hoping someone who has a passion for classics finds it. Being an 88, it'll qualify for classic tax in a few years, so it's not a bad time to get one. It's time for me to move on - I'm looking to get something bigger with a family on the horizon. I can go over all of the work I've done to it over the years on the phone - but to give a few highlights: I had the sills completely manufactured and replaced by a 944 specialist after I bought it, so you can be sure there is not rust on the chassis (I have pictures and videos of this work - it was a big job!). I spent 7,200GBP on lots of work at the end of 2021 at Autofarm, including: new clutch and routed master cylinder, steam cleaned gearbox, new battery, replaced the handbrake and all components, refurbished brake calipers, new brake pads, resealed windscreen, replaced exhaust mounts and hangers. I put Boxster wheels on it. They're spotless. 2 keys. modern radio with DAB and Apple/Android car play. Toad immobiliser. Full history of work. I don't want anyone to have any surprises when they come to see it, so here are all of the things a buyer should be aware of: Slight visible rust around wheel arches (you can see it all in the pictures of the wheels) you can be confident it's only surface rust and will be removable with some treatment. The sills are only about 7 years old so no worries there. Small tear in the driver seat and back seats. The fabric at the top of the back seats is torn, and small repair mark in the leather of the driver seat. The front bumper isn't perfect - you can see in the photos there are a few marks in the paint around there. The modern radio doesn't fit into the slot perfectly. It never bothered me but it's worth noting. Feel free to give me a call with any questions. Marked as imported because the previous owner was in Northern Ireland (that counts, post-brexit apparently). Next MOT due 05/06/2025, White, 4 owners, £7,900
