Bought in June 2020 directly from the VW dealer Southern Motor Group (SMG) (Tonbridge), who was the only previous owner of this vehicle, and thereafter continually and timely serviced by SMG (including replacement of the important cambelt (timing belt) in March 2023 (as required under service schedule). The last service, again by SMG, was undertaken on 20 June 2024. Never had any mechanical issues with van. Includes regular sized replacement tyre, and 2 keys. CAMPING FEATURES: full and complete VW made camper set-up that VW California Beaches come with, including raisable roof with comfortable wood-roast bed for two, 3-person bench that can be rolled into an additional 2 person bed on the "ground floor", roller blinds on all windows other than front windscreen and passenger windows, for which specially-sized attachable curtains are included, 240V mains connection (on the outside) and connected mains plug (on the inside), 12V plugs throughout the van, 2nd recreational battery under the passenger front seat, and a removable and bendable light that can be plugged into any of the 12V plugs. In addition to the VW standard outfit, we are also including an additional self-inflatable mattress, especially made and sized for VW Californias by VANGO (see below), that can be used to make the upstairs more comfortable, or to sleep below plus a long extension cable with bag, to connect the van to mains power, foldable aluminium table (that is stored on the inside of the sliding door), two camping chairs that are stored in the hatch door, and side awning, with roller handle also stored in the hatch door. INCLUDED EXTRAS: an extra passenger seat in the middle of the van, a VW-made 4 bike capacity bicycle rack, originally installed by SMG, that unfortunately suffered some damage following a bike-theft, with 2 of the keys no longer working in the locks, but that is otherwise still fully functional, and 4 almost new Michelin 215/65-16 Aglis winter tyres, currently in paid storage in Croydon, for trips to winter climes (e.g. skiing in the Alps, where winter-tyres are a legal requirement in some countries), and chains. VIEWING & COMPLETION: preferable Fridays or on weekends, in South London. Standard AA template car buyer's/seller's contract to be executed, and release of vehicle upon account clearance of funds.
