Please don't be frightened of the Cat N status of this car. As I understand it, in the COVID period labour and parts were unavailable and as a result cars that would normally have been financed by insurance companies for repair at main dealers were deemed to be Cat N (non-structural damage) write offs because there was no way to repair them at the time. This car was registered on the fifth of September 2020 and was only taxed until the end of September and therefore on the road for less than a month. In that time it covered 841 miles. I bought it at auction in March 2021 in disbelief at how little damage it had. Apart from a very light scratch along the offside doors and a small dent on the offside rear wing, the main damage was on the front offside corner. The bonnet and engine bay were untouched with the damage limited to the front clip panel, the offside front wing, the offside headlight and the parts directly behind. Its original wheels and original Pirelli Alfa Romeo P Corsa tyres are still on the car. In order to allay any fears on the repairs, I feel I should give a brief history of my experience. In my late teens and early twenties I restored and prepared a 1750 GTV for motorsport and worked for an Alfa specialist. I didn't continue in the motor trade but subsequently restored over the years, amongst others, two V12 Ferraris. My current main project is a 1985 Aston Martin Volante which is being built to Prince of Wales specification with large capacity X-Pack engine and Vanquish six speed gearbox. I performed the majority of the work on the Quadrifoglio myself with professionals taking care of the paint. I then took it to the Alfa main dealer for their Quadrifoglio experts to go through it thoroughly to ensure everything was correct. I took it on a pilgrimage to the Alfa Romeo museum in Milan via the Pyrenees and the Alps, covering over two and and a half thousand miles totally reliably. It is a fantastically comfortable long distance touring car and it is only lack of use and my need for garage space that means I reluctantly must sell. I have included photos of the suspension/chassis areas to show the as good as new condition. The digital nature of the photos seems to diminish the condition somehow, It actually looks even better to the naked eye. Next MOT due 30/10/2024, Full service history, Black, 2 owners, £42,995
