Initially produced in 2006, this late TD5 station wagon has recently undergone an extensive recommissioning with the vision of producing a unique 'Ultimate Defender' using only the finest materials and finishes. A base, low mileage, low owner rigorously maintained example was chosen for the project and, over the course of 8 months, it was overhauled. To ensure longevity, the vehicle was initially thoroughly inspected by marque specialist T Johnson (Woolsbridge) and all mechanical items deemed necessitous were rectified, including a major service. The chassis has been treated, with a 10-year anti-corrosion warranty which remains valid. The vehicle has been stripped and re-sprayed in Porche PTS Oak Green Metallic, with contrasting internal and external Land Rover Limestone elements. Exterior upgrades include the 'Heritage' styling pack and fully upgraded billet aluminum security hinges and locks. The interior is entirely bespoke, completed by an expert automotive trimmer, using fine British leather and genuine Harris Tweed. The loadspace has been finished with a solid American Walnut deck, complete with stainless fixtures. Drivability has been achieved via the Apple Carplay/AndriodAuto system, reversing camera and subtle engine performance upgrades. The vehicle has been completed without compromise or consideration of cost, testified by its feature as the cover article of 'Land Rover Monthly July' edition.
