One of the first of the 993 generation of 911. A beautifully maintained example with full service history and a comprehensive folder of invoices. The car is as original as they come. No modifications other than a Porsche Classic Bluetooth/Dab/Iphone ready stereo. I still have the original factory radio and tape holders that slot into the centre console. The previous owner had the car for 20 years and in that time only drove about 10k. The car was meticulously maintained and kept in a covered garage. The folder of invoices and service history attest to this. I've done some general updates like changing the mufflers as they can rust over time. I've changed for brand new Dansk stainless steel mufflers on either side. I've also put four new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres as of March 2024. The most recent MOT was in Jan 2024 where it passed with no advisories. Since I've had the car I've taken it on several long European road trips and have had no issues. Mechanically and electronically it is perfect. Inside it is actually quieter than more modern 911s and very comfortable on a long drive. The automatic gearbox makes it easy in traffic and coupled with cruise control makes for very relaxed highway driving. That said if you put your foot down it still has exciting acceleration and the sound of that air cooled engine is a pleasure. The extra reassurance with the auto gearbox is that it is impossible to overrev so you have peace of mind that the engine has never had any overevving incidents. This is the last generation of hand made cars. It's the car that nearly bankrupted Porsche as it was so expensive to produce. It feels solid and agile. Everything in the cabin feels like it was made to last. It is the perfect balance of a real drivers car with some modern conveniences to make easy to drive every day.
