Don't let the odometer reading put you off this vehicle. The owner before myself had this vehicle since 2009 and has documented every bit of work that has been done on this car, there are two history folders stacked full of invoices. It has a service history book full of stamps, with the most recent one being undertaken by myself last month, so you don't have to worry about a service anytime soon. The technicians weren't able to clear the service light, so currently it starts up with a 'Service overdue' warning. Finished in an understated brown, this Volvo still looks the part today. Some minor areas of the exterior show its age. These include the driver's door mirror that has faded over time, a slight dent in the driver's door (just at the edge), and most noticeable the crack to the plastic bumper trim at the front, however, left in the boot when I collected it was a genuine Volvo replacement. The rear left passenger door does not unlock on the central locking but will lock if you open it manually from the inside. The rest of the exterior is in great condition for its age, the alloys look in good condition. Inside the black leather has aged well, with some slight age-related wear to the driver's side bolster. They are possibly one of the most comfortable car seats I've ever driven in. The front seats are also electrically operated and work as intended, the driver seat even has a three-stage memory option. They are also both heated and cooled. Other interior features include the sat nav that rises from the dash, a fully working sunroof, a DVD player in the central armrest that links to the TVs in the rear, high-quality audio from the aux port, rear passenger booster seats, load cover, and dog guard. As you might expect some areas of the interior show their age, but overall, the inside has been preserved well. Mechanically this car is in running and driving condition. I took the car on a trip down to Devon a day after purchasing it and it glided down the motorway on its incredible suspension (which is 3-way adaptable. Comfort, Sport & Advanced). The 2.4l diesel 5-cylinder is a great engine, on occasion, it can take a little bit longer to start than ideal however it's always started for me and never left me stranded anywhere. The 6-speed automatic gearbox is smooth and encourages more relaxed driving. It does perform well for its age and mileage.
