Description
Body work is in excellent condition. It's not 'concourse condition' and could do with a some attention here and there but no serious rust, holes, filler or anything structural to worry about. I had intended on keeping the car longer but my current work commitments are not allowing me the time to work on these elements of the car. I have had it extensively taken care of mechanically over the past 10 months by Project Shop / Classic Car Collective in Bicester. Too much to list in full detail but around 2.5k spent and all the paperwork to show.I purchased the car as I wanted to experience driving a beautiful, useable, reliable and fun to drive classic and have very happily used it as a weekly drive. This has obviously been very good for the cars engine and having not driven it more than a few miles since the last full service - it's ready and raring to do another couple of thousand reliable miles. The second owner of the car owned it for over 35 years. It was then owned by the president of a classic car club for four years. The mileage can be checked against the MOT certificates going back to 1984.Work carried out over the past 10 months:Nov 2023. Full safety check and full service including engine flush, gearbox oil, diff oil, coolant system flushed, spark plugs, fan belt, fuel lines.Accuspark Electronic Ignition installed (original parts come with care). Aug 24. Full service including engine flush, gearbox oil, diff oil, coolant system flushed, PCV valve replaced, Rear brake cylinders replaced, full compression test carried out on motorway and the engine is in excellent condition. Runs fine on E5 unleaded with lead replacement additive and fuel stabilizer (advisable to use in all cars). MOT to Aug, 2025 with no advisories. I have just waxoiled the underside of the car with three tins so it's all set for the winter. Loads of service history, the most important being the recent work that I have had carried out. Original Hand Book still present. Unfortunately with three cars, three bikes and not much spare time something has to go and having loved and taken care of the car - I don't want to see it start to deteriorate. This beautify car is now in need of its next appreciative custodian. Extras included if agreed sale price is fair - New Coil, Front and rear dampers (bought as precaution but not required), New Thermostat (bought as precaution but not required) Haynes Workshop Manual, Autobooks Workshop Manual. Ultra rare Britax F.L series halogen lights. Next MOT due 14/08/2025, Part service history, Blue, 4 owners, £8,999
