Unwanted project car. Bought by my daughter but she decided to take her driving test in an automatic and so cannot drive this car. It's not the prettiest car yet but has had a ton of work done in anticipation of her test. new front end suspesnion including wishbones, New front brake pads and discs, new subframe bushings, new front shocks, new tailgate strut, different front grill purchased but not fitted yet (my daughter preferred the slatted grill). Looking through the recipts and service history book, it has a new timing belt and water pump at 148k, special edition rims. There is the origional book pack, a handful of recipts and one Key. It has some scattered service history with the last being done at 164k. Prior to her buying it, it was MOT'd on 16/04/2024 and the necessary work carried out plus the rear shock absorbers were replaced by the previous owner. The car is a limited edition called Storm which you can look up on the web, they had a few extra or different features. This one is Misano red (albeit a tad flaky). The bad bits: The electric panoramic sunroof does not open, The bonnet is less than attractice as it has black spray on it, the whole bodywork needs some tlc due to laquer peel, sometimes crunches in third gear but I have had 2 A2's before and they did exactally the same, I suspect the turbo wastegate sometimes sticks at 2,800 revs going up hill. It will either need cleaning or the turbo replacing which I believe are between 240 and 300. Starts and drives absolutely fine and will make a good cheap little run around.
