Description

Most likely the cleanest early roadster on the market today. Full service history with 14 stamps in the service book and all MOT certificates - every one a pass. The history of this car is interesting - confirmed by Aston Martin Heritage Trust - this was the 16th Roadster ever made and was registered and owned by Aston Martin Lagonda Limited for its first two years. In 2009 it was retailed in the dealer network selling by Grange Aston Martin to a private owner. Grange then exchanged it three subsequent times, the final owner, in his late 60s, acquiring it in 2015 and keeping it for 9 years. As this is an early car, it is pre-type approval which means 12-month road tax is only GBP345 - less than half the standard road tax cost for a Vantage. The advisory-free MOT was completed in January, it was serviced in February and has covered less than 400 miles since. Recent cosmetic refurbishment includes: powder coated alloys, new OEM wheel centers, new OEM margin seals and new Aston Martin Works number plates. The paintwork has been restored and is near-perfect with no corrosion or parking dents and virtually free of stone chips. The interior is excellent with only very light wear to the driver's seat bolster. Tyres are matching Dunlop SP Sport Maxx. The service book is fully stamped, there are two alarm fobs and three original keys. Specification: Silver Ice paintwork, Chancellor Red leather with silver stitching, alloy facia, Phantom Grey carpets, black hood with Tailors Gray lining, charcoal seatbelts, grey brake calipers. Bluetooth, Aston Martin Premium Audio, HID headlamps with wash and levelling, heated memory seats, power fold mirrors, delete Vantage badge, 19" 7-spoke wheels. About me: I am not a car dealer, but a Communication Director and my hobby is light cosmetic restoration and detailing of post-2000 sports cars. My free time is scarce, which is why it takes me several months to complete the many hours required to achieve a high level of perfection on each car. My strategy is to carefully buy a car which is already in good condition, with great provenance. I then set about bringing it back to near-perfect condition over many months in my home detailing studio. Once complete, I photograph my work and sell the car, trying not to lose money in the process. I usually find time for two cars per year depending on my work schedule. As I'm not a trader, each car is registered in my name at my home address and is SORN. I rarely drive them. Next MOT due 01/01/2025, Full service history, Silver, 5+ owners, £25,950
