I need a bigger family car now, hence time to sell my R53 after 9 years of ownership. Car has 4 former keepers. Sale includes Hayne's manual, the auxiliary belt tool, and the oil filter socket tool. About 140K miles on the clock. Done lots of work during the pandemic as a mini project to keep me busy. This car has not broken down during my ownership. It has been very reliable, and I have only had to spend money on the typical consumables at MOTs. Work Done as pandemic project is: New clutch fitted in 2023; Brake/clutch fluid renewed; Gearbox oil renewed; Gearbox clutch mechanism cleaned; Crankshaft rear seal replaced during clutch replacement; Supercharger oil changed; New cylinder head cover gasket fitted; New engine sump gasket fitted; New auxiliary belt fitted; New alternator fitted; New thermostat fitted; New front discs and pads; New heater matrix fitted; New slave cylinder fitted Engine cleaned with specific process. See pictures showing the quality of the engine oil following 4 cleaning cycles. I have used this process several times during my ownership of the vehicle. Cooling system completely flushed with water during heater matrix replacement. New antifreeze in place following system clean. Bad points:Air con does not work. Mechanics advised I have a leak and could not recharge it; Radio does not work very well. Only two radio stations can be chosen; Both keys only work manually.
