Up for sale is my clean, rust-free, well looked after EP3. I have owned the car for 8 years and it has been an absolute joy. I have just put an early fresh MOT on it (no advisories) so is MOTd until September 2025. It comes with two keys and fobs, some history, I have lots of receipts on email., In the last 12 months it has had:, All new uprated suspension components and bushes including TEIN shocks, eibach springs, drop links, track rod ends, bottom arms, upper arms, top mounts and bushes and probably more. It’s also had new c-hook brake discs and green stuff pads, a Fujitsubo cat-back Exhaust and new (yes, NEW) headlights, and Yokohama AD08Rs all round with plenty of tread left., It is now fitted with the full JDM EP3 interior which is very difficult to get hold of in this condition. , It was fitted with a new Exedy clutch kit around 2.5 years and 15,000 miles ago along with a Tegiwa short shifter., The wheels are Rota Torques on Evo 8/9 fitment so are an inch wider without messing with the offset., The car overall is in very good condition. The interior is very clean, the bodywork has very few age related marks like stone chips on the bonnet and bumper, no exterior rust. Underneath we have found no signs of rust as the under seal has done its job well. The engine runs very well, gearbox is strong and healthy with no crunches, starts on the button every time., Few bad points to highlight: , Fuel gauge doesn’t work - you can replace the cluster for around £50 but it personally never bothered me, plus you’d have to get the mileage coded., Cig lighter socket doesn’t work - could be a fuse but again, there’s a usb port on the stereo so never bothered me., Rattle on start-up - anyone that knows these engine knows the chain will rattle due to the lack of oil pressure activating the tensioner. I had another ep3 before this one that needed a new chain and that still rattled with new guides and tensioner. The previous owner said the chain had been done on this one. , Wheels have gravel rash - wheels could do with a refurb, I bought them from some mine that used them in a track car. They’re still good, just have several marks on them., Vieweing recommended, I am open to offers however I do believe the price to be very fair.
