Description

47.1 mpg. 2 keys. Service History.Long MOT valid until April 2025. HPI Clear. ULEZ & Bristol Clean Air Zone Compliant. Bluetooth retrofitted to the original OEM head unit, to preserve the original interior of the car. The car can also come with an aftermarket CarPlay/Android Auto media device that can be mounted to the windscreen, dashboard, or below the heater controls. Comes with the original instruction and service manuals in immaculate condition. The car also comes with a large amount of historical paperwork including service history, invoices and receipts. In current ownership since December 2020. The engine is strong and delivers consistent power throughout the rev range and starts reliably. No issues such as cold starts, blue smoke or milking in the oil cap. The car operates freely in all gears and pulls well in all of them. Steering is direct and communicative. A reasonable amount of work has been put into the suspension before and during my ownership, including a recent realignment, helping the car to feel fresh and handle well without any knocking or steering issues. All the body panels on the car are original. The car also comes with the original full spare tyre (not a space saver) and also comes with the original toolkit, which includes a screwdriver and jack. As an engineer, a significant amount of time and money has been spent maintaining the car mechanically in a high-quality condition, likely more so than other owners of VW Polos that are 18-years-old. The car has been in regular use, averaging approximately 5,000 miles per year. It is currently used 5-6 times a week and still received regular use at least once a week during lockdown. The car has been used for a mix of driving (motorway, A-road, city), evening the wear and usage on the car. Most trips in the car are sufficiently long enough for the engine and oil to get up to optimal operating temperature. When driving, I have always ensured the car is driven carefully and gently until the engine has gotten up to temperature. Where possible, OEM or OEM quality parts have always been fitted to the car. The car has also visited multiple VW Group specialist garages, including PSC Autocentres and VASS Bath. Recent work includes Osram Nightbreakers low and high beam bulbs, NGK spark plugs, coil pack refurbishment, air filter, Bosch wipers, suspension alignment, 4x Dunlop "Street Response 2" tyres, upper anti-roll bar, constant velocity boot kit, exhaust back box, drivers side door lock. Next MOT due 10/04/2025, Part service history, Silver, 5+ owners, £1,249
