This is the best car we've ever owned. It drives like a dream and it's packed with kit. The car is in great condition, having been meticulously cared for, with a full service history and all work done at official VW dealerships. Only 2 owners. Low mileage. The car has 12 months MOT and also has a towbar fitted. The car comes from a professional, smoke-free family home. We're reluctantly selling due a change in family circumstances. There are 2 minor issues with the bodywork, a small bump above the driver-side rear wheel arch and the other is above the rear registration plate, on the right hand side. Both are visible in the last few photos. If these are a big problem for you, please don't come and view the car. In reality, I never notice them and they don't bother me at all, but I know some people are very particular about this, so I wanted to make them clear here. The car was bought from VW Crewe, after the original owner's 3-year lease ended. Since then it has been MOT'd and serviced at VW Chester, so everything is original VW parts and all work has been carried out by VW technicians according to up-to-date VW spec and guidelines. We've never had any problems with this car and it's pretty much perfect. Great for school runs and popping around town, but also VERY comfortable for long drives and the adaptive cruise control is awesome when on long motorway journeys. The parking sensors are excellent and were professionally recalibrated when we added the towbar. There are two isofix points in the rear, which is great for kids' car seats or booster seats. Honestly, this version of the Golf (pre-facelift) is an absolute belter. Please don't view the car with the intention of haggling over the price, as we won't budge on it and you'll just have a wasted trip.
