For sale is this relatively low mileage Mercedes-Benz SLK200. The car used to belong to my Grandfather (who owned it since 2018) before he sadly passed away last year. I don't have space to keep it so I am looking to pass it to a new owner to be enjoyed as it should. Having driven the car for over 1000 miles since taking custody of it, I can confirm that it drives as intended, with the engine pulling well and the auto gearbox passing smoothly through all gears. The folding hard top works perfectly and completes operation in about 20 seconds each way. The rare AMG alloys are a nice addition and give the car a more purposeful and unique appearance. The interior is in particularly good condition, with much of the switchgear and touch points appearing almost unmarked. The exterior is to be expected for a 17-year-old car, with a number of scratches and minor dings (most notably a repair to the lower part of the front offside bumper), but the paintwork is generally good. Corrosion has been noted to the underside of the car but is currently not excessive so should be treatable with scrubbing/waxoyling etc. With the current MOT until May 2025, the car represents excellent value for money in terms of accessible top-down motoring and German reliability.
