This has been a daily car for us for 7 years. It's been utterly reliable and carefully looked after. It's currently SORN, but still insured, so ill take it for an MOT before any serious viewings. On top of the usual servicing) brakes/tyres etc, over the time it's had: New roof (German mohair fitted by Chortles Top Shop) .. Stance+coilovers... Poly wishbone bushes and top mounts... New cat, with stainless cat back exhaust... Leather mk 3.5 steering wheel. Mk3.5 seats... Pioneer DAB/Bluetooth/hands free... Phoenix gold speakers... (Wiring present for sub) ... Genuine 15" VW BBS RA (the MK2 16v ones) with recent Uniroyal on the back and Avon on the front... 3.5 retractable wind breaker... Tonneau cover... Sills have been welded front and rear (proper job - all cut out, structure repaired, no rust left inside - fully painted inside and out and cavity waxed)... Engine has had a top end rebuild (valves ground in, new tappets etc) ... Heater box rebuilt, so no annoying foam pouring out of the vents, and hot/cold air as required (something that's often ignored on mk3s!) . There are a few dings etc round it, (though it had bonnet and below the rub strips professionally painted last year, so it's tidier than many!) There's a bit of rust on the boot lid, but nothing requiring urgent attention. There's a crack in a headlight lense, but the original headlights are included with the sale, along with any other parts I have. Next MOT due 31/10/2024, Black, 5+ owners, £2,500
