Land Rover Defender County Station Wagon. 1996 300 TDi. Previous owner for 25 years who meticulously maintained it during that time including oil and filter changes every 3000 miles. The MOT history shows only one failure some years ago which was due to a malfunction in the test equipment and went on to pass emission tests minutes later also the entire MOT history shows no advisories whatsoever. The chassis is in very solid condition having been waxoyl treated during the last 25 years with most recent Dinitrol treatment in 2019. Rear crossmember has been replaced with a quality 6 mm thick replacement part. The exhaust system is stainless steel and the factory fitted alarm and immobiliser and two remotes operate correctly. The cambelt has been changed four times with the most recent at 140000 miles in November 2017. The bodywork still looks good with some minor paint imperfections especially the roof which would benefit from a repaint. Not a trace of chequer plate anywhere,absolutely standard except fo Kenlowe fan. Original unused tool kit and owners handbook. I am reluctantly selling as i have recently been diagnosed with a condition that will eventually prevent me from driving so while i am still in possesion of a few remaining marbles.......I understand that this Landrover satisfies all the requirements for export to America and Canada as it is totally in original condition with chassis and engine number plus V5 details all correct.. I have a set of five 16" Freestyle alloy rims which are included in the sale. So there you have it warts an all,not the cheapest Land rover here but probably the best maintained.
