PRESENT OWNER FOR 45 YEARS. This excellent Gamine example was subject to a full bare metal respray in De Tomaso red in 1986 at which time the seats were retrimmed in striking white leather with red piping, the original Fiat rubber mats were overlaid with new carpets and a roof was added. The car since it's importation has always been garaged and has never had any panels or floor parts replaced all of which remain totally solid. The engine which has been left with its original patina has been serviced regularly and runs faultlessly, it had covered 57000kms (35509miles) when imported in Sept 1980 with only an additional 950 miles added in the last 45 years. More recently the braking system has been renewed to include all brake pipes and hoses, wheel cylinders, master cylinder and brake switch plus shoes all round. A new fuel pump has also been added. Purchased in southern Italy in 1979, only used then as summer car around the Amalfi Coast. Driven back to U. K. with no problems as personal import and has been in same ownership since.
